A detail from a completed residential refurbishment, where structural capability was just as important as the final aesthetic.

This chandelier installation, weighing approximately 50kg, required a full assessment of the existing ceiling structure. Our team strengthened the joist framework and introduced additional load-bearing support to safely accommodate the fixture, ensuring compliance with current UK building standards.

Coordination between structural works and electrical installation was key. Fixings, load distribution and final positioning were all considered to deliver a safe, long-term solution.

High-end finishes only perform when the construction behind them is done properly.
