The exhibition presents over 400 objects, 85 historic Schiaparelli looks, 25 contemporary designs, accessories, jewellery, perfumes, paintings, sculpture, and photography

Our exhibition design is guided by the concept of déjà vu, a sense of familiarity that feels subtly altered, expressed spatially rather than through overt surrealist tropes. A black-and-white, textural world becomes the backdrop for Schiaparelli’s work, where precision, repetition, and distortion shape a spatial experience that is both visceral and disorienting. Layered thresholds, looping sightlines, and shifting perspectives create a non-linear journey where visitors encounter objects multiple times, each moment transformed by light, context, and perception.

Babylon is a site-specific original artwork commissioned for the 2024 Music and Arts Festival. This inhabitable installation features a stacked assembly of blocks that creates a cathedral-like interior void, enhanced by projection mapping to form a kaleidoscopic cinematic environment.
This installation explores themes of monumentality and exuberance. Its form reflects our interest in contradictory structures that seem both primitive and otherworldly, as well as solid yet fragile.

What began as an internal tool—a personal library of ideas, thoughts, and references—has grown into something more. Our Studio Journals are written catalogues crafted in collaboration with our brilliant forager/researcher, Sam Aitkenhead.

These limited-edition journals (printed in a run of just 50 copies) mark the start of a new chapter for us—a way to document the stories and inspirations behind the work we create, and to share a glimpse into the processes that drive us.

In the coming months, we’ll be sharing excerpts from these papers to provide insights into our thought processes, highlight what inspires us, and hopefully offer you a bit of creative inspiration in your regular newsfeed.

Competition entry

Its facade constantly shift and reflect the surrounding environment, capturing the subtle, ever-changing nuances of light, color, and movement. This creates a dynamic interaction where the museum for the past and the future is a building in perpetual conversation with the present.

Together with and Italian researchers , we’ve been exploring the cultural heartbeat of Parma. From discovering hidden gems to immersing ourselves in the city’s creative scene, we’re working with and to build a framework and vision for a new contemporary art foundation.

In the second photo the Ospedale Vecchio, where, from the center of its cruciform plan, the priest once stood, visible to all patients during mass.
