Have you ever seen such a fashionable birdie? So stylish!

I have never heard of this bird until one of my dear friend commissioned me to paint it. Well later on I realised that I did see this bird before actually, in a quite popular show: Aggretsuko 😆 (picture in the comments)

This was such a joy to do! Basically it was like a great little game to paint these: as I finished to put down the first sky color on one part, I jumped on the next little part, while the previous one was drying. It was actually playful and relaxing as I slowly painted three little arts in the same time!

👀 ʙᴇʜɪɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ sᴄᴇɴᴇ of my mossy forest!

This whole thing started with a vision of me trying to start with the dark colors first. Then slowly build it up towards the light colors. It was very much entertaining, even tough I'm so used to watercolor, which is the complete opposite method of this🤪

I did use my watercolors on this anyway, but a lot of acrylic too. Nice change from my usual method ✨

✨Another big project, I made it for my grandpa's birthday.🥰

Start with that, how my grandfather loves to read so much, he has a great collection of books, almost like a library. 📖 For as long as I can remember, he's telling poems and quotes by head. Just to emphasize how amazing he is, he still remembers to every poems what he learned back in school... 😲I still don't know how is that possible! Once I learned those rhymes but the next week I already forgot all about them! 🫣

I mixed two books:

🐾The Jungle Book and The Godfather🌹, since those two are the all-time favourites of my grandpa. I depicted him as a little boy, like the time when he first read The Jungle Book. As he's walking in the middle of all those worlds that feels like to open up while you reading.😊

🦃STORYTIME📖

My granny told me this story about the time when she was a little girl. Her family had a turkey once, which was not particularly nice to anyone but to my granny. This turkey was practically her beloved pet. And this big bird loved my granny so much that every time when she was coming home from school, it always ran out to the gates, just to welcome my granny! The whole street was loud of those funny turkey noises, as the birdie expressed the joy, to see its dear friend, my granny.

I found this story incredible adorable, so I had to paint the two precious little friend. I made this to my granny as a birtdhay present❤️🎁
