Currently used as play area, we designed this bookshelf to be as functional as it is beautiful. The picture lights illuminate artwork on the upper panels, so all of the unsightly bits are cleverly hidden. The panel at the top left hides a fuse box, while the other two create concealed storage easily accessed on a touch latch. All the shelves are adjustable with a lovely sawtooth detail. The bottom cabinets hide the larger, less aesthetically pleasing toys.

Eventually this area will become a more grown up space, and the joinery can seamlessly grow with our clients 🤍

The entry for our Cornwall project features a round central table, which we had made with reclaimed oak wood for the top and aged metal tubes as the base. The table creates the perfect focal point for pottery and florals when guests enter the home.

For this Home Refinement package, we helped our client make adjustments to the furniture positions and sizes as well as refine positions of artwork and accessories.

Our client walked away with a clear To-Do List of exactly how to proceed in finishing off the space to make it feel elegant and complete 🤎

Maximising function and utilising every inch/millimetre

We designed this fully bespoke kitchen to be completely tailored to our clients' needs. Originally this view had an extended wall to conceal a combination washer dryer. By removing this nib wall, we could hide the laundry area in a full height cupboard. This not only allowed a countertop above separate washing machine and dryer with shelving above, but also meant we could wrap the countertop of the main kitchen to allow more work space 🩶

After combining two rooms in the eaves of this house, we nestled several pieces of joinery into the awkward corners of the space to make every inch usable. We wrapped all surfaces in a wallpaper - the perfect pattern and colour that feels girly, yet timeless 📸 by

A few posts ago, we showed this bespoke kitchen table in detail. Another bespoke piece in this kitchen (which is my own kitchen!) is the extractor fan hood that I had made out of patinated copper metal. The turquoise colours are so layered and look stunning as the light moves throughout the day.
