Stepping through the 2026 WOW House earlier this week, it’s refreshing to see the level of finishes, combined with thoughtful details.

The rooms here didn’t rely on a single price point , they thrived on mixing high end finishes against accessible materials - a masterclass in how to bridge the gap between ‘new construction’ and ‘heritage’ by layering old finds with contemporary silhouettes to achieve a sense of place.

Ultimately it comes down to the quieter elements , the intentional details and sophisticated lighting. This is what shifts a space from being impressive to undeniably inviting.

A snippet of what we've been up to. As new projects unfold, I find posting content naturally becomes more limited — and I’m okay with that (sorry dear followers! I'm trying to get better but perhaps in time I'll find the right alignment on this)

Design has always been about slowness with intention: I've been busy building meaningful relationships, honouring the trades and craftspeople we work with, and collaborating calmly to create spaces with integrity. Guiding our clients through thoughtful decisions that protect both their investment and their time.

Choosing intention over pressure/frequency. Because the best work — like the best spaces — truly takes time.

A visit to some of the refurbished rooms - always enjoy these opportunities - key design points

1- everything starts with a story- every home/refurb carries history
2- Lighting , lighting lighting it’s so important, natural light paired with ambient and directional layers is everything
3 - furnishings and materiality - pieces that respond to architecture, proportion and flow of the room (this is also where customisation can play a key role)
4- Art with intention - placed with meaning and connecting back to the story

Great design isn’t accidental and this shows the collective mindset of designers and lighting experts to create what we all what, spaces that don’t just look nice but feel nice , a home like sense , grounded in comfort , coherence and belongs to you

A few things from the last week - an event that never fails to bring like minded souls together. We feel this year's theme of 'Culture Clash' isn’t chaos, its an opportunity to celebrate how hotels are becoming global canvases: blending heritage, locality and contemporary sensibilities to craft spaces that feel relevant to a diverse, worldwide guest profile. Always great catching up with old friends, procurement teams, hotel clients and discovering new well crafted products. Until next year!

We’ve always believed in the beauty of repurposing pieces that make sense — honouring what already holds history and giving it new life through thoughtful design.

Behind each revived chair or sofa is a quiet collaboration: we work with our upholsterers hand in hand — testing seating density, seat height for comfort, aligning fabrics perfectly with the frame, refining stitch details, and approving every texture and tone before a single piece is finished. Why? because we care, we want the piece to live on.

It is not ''just upholstery'', it is a process of care, precision and passion — and this is what transforms furniture into storytelling.

We believe that small spaces deserve big ideas too, and this 7m² bathroom refurbishment was a perfect example of that!

For this project, we developed 3–4 layout options to explore maximum functionality and worked with the client's brief to maximise their storage needs and maintain a shower and separate bath. We handled the full concept development, produced detailed technical drawings, and meticulously sourced all finishes to align perfectly with the client's budget balancing cost without compromising quality.

The result is a space that is highly functional, feels warm, with a refined palette that now flows seamlessly from the existing hallway. It now looks like it was always meant to be there
