Walk through the Grade-II Listed flat we are renovating in Queen’s Gate, South Kensington. This computer-generated animation shows the front and rear rooms connected by a restored elliptical archway which was previously walled off. A new kitchen receives daylight from two directions, morning and evening, thanks to a fire-rated glass clerestory. The closet wing hallway opens onto new shower rooms and a renovated master bedroom. A chevron oak parquet sits on an acoustic subfloor throughout the flat.

Our vertical extension project is starting on site with the demolition phase (in spite of the bleak weather). The roof of this single-family house will be removed to make way for an entirely new top floor. Updates to follow!

We recently obtained planning permission and tendered drawings for the transformation of a detached house in Ickenham. It will provide a spacious new top floor under a high ceiling. The new roof is unbroken by any dormer to eschew the “box on the roof” aspect all too common with loft conversions. These drawings and visualisation, done in-house, show our rigorous modelling of the client’s requirements.

We transformed the basement of this mews house into a ping-pong room for the client, a semi-professional table tennis player. The change is impressive considering how subdivided the previous basement was (second picture). We also opened up the ground floor by adding a fire-rated glass partition and a misting system. We brightened it by sanding the oak floor from black to natural and painting the walls and ceiling white. The result is a calm, cheerful interior for this young family.

Adding a bedroom and shower to the first floor of this mews house has increased its resellability: previously the house had only one bedroom, the master’s on the second floor. The cosy bedroom, adjacent to the new living room on the same floor, is decorated by our client as a child’s room. It has built-in storage and an oak floor restored to its natural colour.

In our mews house renovation in Notting Hill, the first floor underwent a major transformation. Once a dance floor with black curtains and a bar (second photo) it became a living room, an office and a new bedroom with en-suite shower. We restored the oak parquet to its natural colour and added a fire-rated fluted glass partition around the stair. We also designed bespoke radiator covers.

We offer virtual reality as standard on all our projects, to all our clients. While one person uses the VR headset, the rest of the client team sees what they are seeing on the screen. We cycle through design options in real time.

We are designing a heightened roof for a house in Ickenham, London and here we display roof tile options in our office for the client. The samples came from the UK, Spain, the Netherlands and as far as Greece. Which one do you prefer?
