The Owner’s Lens – Designed for ideas and everyday life to flow.

This reconfigured kitchen and dining space was designed to feel open, adaptable and fluidly connected to the garden beyond - creating a greater sense of movement, light and flow throughout the home. Large-format glazing softens the threshold between inside and outside, while a pared-back palette of natural materials, including earth-toned terracotta tiles, warm timber accents, bright linen curtains and light-toned joinery, brings warmth, softness and brightness to the interior without overwhelming the space.

The blurred movement reflects the way the home is intended to be lived in: active, relaxed and constantly evolving around daily life.

The image taken by the internationally renowned creatives .pani, captures the atmosphere of the home in a way that feels instinctive, lived-in and deeply personal.

The Owner’s Lens – Like a breath of fresh air.

Redesigning a home is sometimes more about changing the way a home feels, and less about adding new space. It’s about creating more beautiful everyday moments.

New large-format sliding glazing and fixed panels open the kitchen and dining area effortlessly onto the patio and garden, drawing natural light deeper into the home. Bright linen curtains and light-toned joinery soften the space, while the continuous use of warm terracotta tiles, both inside and on the patio outside, visually extend the kitchen and dining area beyond the boundaries of the house.

The space’s softness and atmosphere are captured here by the owners, the internationally renowned photographers .pani, themselves.

The Owner’s Lens – Opening up to the outdoors.

As the days get warmer, our gardens finally become an essential part of everyday life again. This project is a great example of how a kitchen and dining area redesign can blur the threshold between inside and outside through light, material and atmosphere.

Large-format glazing, soft linen curtains and warm-toned terracotta tiles that flow seamlessly from the kitchen out onto the garden patio create a calm, lived-in atmosphere and reinforce the feeling of one continuous space extending beyond the boundaries of the home.

The home’s redesign, created in collaboration with the owners, - the internationally renowned photographers Lola & Pan - explored how natural light could be drawn deeper into the footprint of the existing home by transforming the kitchen and dining area into a bright, open space closely connected to the garden.

Beautifully photographed here through the owner’s lens in a way that feels both personal and quietly cinematic.

The Shingled Sound Studio – Take a look inside.

Designed for music production this calm and acoustically balanced garden studio retreat sits within a residential back garden in East London. Clad in hand-cut cedar fish-scale shingles, the façade creates a layered, rhythmic texture which echoes the sound within.

Inside, the walls and ceiling are lined with sustainable BAUX acoustic wood wool panels in ‘Clouds Grey’, providing excellent sound insulation while introducing a soft, textured finish that calms both sound and space.

The bespoke continuous desk and integrated shelving, crafted from bright birch plywood, keep keyboards, synths, effect pedals and monitors within clear and practical reach, while helping reflect natural light throughout the studio.

A generously sized window with hidden handles brightens the interior, while the considered layout ensures the workspace remains efficient, organised and visually clean - professional yet deeply personal.

Instagram sadly wouldn’t let us add the studio owner’s music here - so please make sure to check out his amazing work over at

The Little House – Extension season’s around the corner.

This extension makes us countdown to spring, with light pouring in, views extending out, and the boundary between inside and outside nearly disappearing.

The bespoke feather-edge cedar cladding, creates a natural rhythm against the landscape, blending effortlessly with the garden while also standing out as a sculptural architectural element.

The striking 13-metre wall of glazing stretches across the extension’s rear façade, with sliding pocket doors and large-format panels connecting the open-plan kitchen, dining and living space directly with the terrace and garden beyond.

Three form studio – blending in & standing out.

We decided to clad this garden studio in black composite vertical timber battens with concealed gutters and sleek glazing, creating a calm, minimal expression that integrates effortlessly into the surrounding garden.

Its clean vertical lines echo the surrounding planting and charcoal-toned fencing, pergola and external lighting – bold, but never overpowering. A unique combination of vertical window and overhead skylight creates a distinctive wrap-around lighting effect that enhances both brightness and spatial depth.

Three Form Studio - One of a kind. Tucked into the back of a beautifully landscaped East London garden, this low-profile studio brings together three distinct spaces: a greenhouse-style area for plant care, a calm gym, and a compact workshop - all under one roof, across approx. 24m².

Open-plan yet smartly divided, each space shares a clear visual language: sleek black batten cladding outside, and warm, light plywood interiors within - offset by black shelving, seamless anthracite porcelain floors, and frameless skylights that keep the design modern, grounded, and full of light.
