This tenant had been complaining that their bathroom door handle had completely come away from the door, making it very difficult to have any privacy when you need it most.
However, Adrian knew that door handles don't just "come off" and wanted to find the root cause of the issue.
After some investigating, Adrian discovered that when the door was originally installed, it wasn't done correctly. It was rubbing on the frame, meaning excess force was needed to open and close it — eventually causing the handle to fail.
After sanding off the excess wood and reattaching the handles, the door was fully operational and the tenant was over the moon that they could use their bathroom in total privacy!
That's the difference between a quick fix and a lasting solution. 🔧
