Kitchen islands are a great way to add function and style to your space, but getting the proportions right is key. 🔑

We’ve helped many homeowners design the perfect island, and here are our top three tips for choosing the right size:

1. Keep it in scale - your island should take up no more than 10–15% of your kitchen’s total square footage.
2. Want seating? Allow at least 60cm per stool for comfort.
3. Make sure there’s a minimum of 90cm clearance around the island so everything flows smoothly.
