Caswell&Dainow

Caswell&Dainow We are a London based design-led property development company. We like to look at things differently to most developers.

Our creative approach enables us to unlock the hidden potential
of buildings, gardens and in-between spaces. Caswell&Dainow is a design-led property development company. We use great design to unlock the hidden potential of buildings, gardens, and in-between spaces. Charlie Caswell and Adam Dainow met while studying Architecture at University. They both went on to lead Architecture and Design prac

tices in London where they honed their experience designing and delivering complex residential projects. They set up Caswell&Dainow in 2017 to put into practice their passion for architecture and property and enact the belief that good architecture can unlock the value of London’s unloved and awkward spaces.

C&D team meeting
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
We love to work in new and creative places, always on the move and not confined to a single place of work. As developers we are always working all across London / Home Counties, every day looking at new opportunities and having meetings on our current projects. Wherever we are, nothing beats huddling around a laptop and discussing all things C&D πŸ’» Especially when a cold beer is involved... 🍻
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
The beauty of this is that every day is different, and we get to have our meetings at our favourite members clubs, restaurants and cafes all over Londonβ€¦πŸ“

We recently secured planning permission for a new build housing building in East London, working with our architects and planning consultants

The scheme will provide 2 high quality dwellings, one of which will be a duplex
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
The building is conceived as a cascade of robust volumes providing a generous quantum of external amenity terrace space for its users. The upper duplex is accessed via external steps that reference villa typologies nearby. The architectural language and external materials respond to a rich and varied surrounding context to give the building a unique and characterful identity of its own

We firmly believe that the careful and design focused development of small urban sites such as this one is key to the sustainable delivery of homes in the capital, and that new buildings should reflect not only their place and setting but also the time they are built in
