Continuing with the theme of recent tiling works here’s a Bathroom in an apartment of a 19th century property in London. Flat is tenanted and had ongoing leaks damaging the property below. A job for Rob to sort out. Found the floor tiles had decoupled and had multiple hairline cracks and failed grout due to the water getting below the tiles. Damaged tiles with hairline cracks in the shower wall, a leaking shower screen, bad sealant in areas around the tub fair to say we didn’t have to look too hard to find the issues. Toilet out, basin out, Floor up, floor repaired, prepared, waterproofed and new floor fitted to match existing as best we could but the new tiles were a little bigger. For the walls we opted for some 10mm marble effect panels which were cut to size, fitted and sealed. Nothing in this gnarly laid out apartment was straight making it a slight challenge but in and out in a jiffy with the minimum amount of disruption to the tenants.
