The Guest Suite Empire Style Bed.

A spectacular neo-classical gilt-bronze mounted Hungarian ash and rosewood inlaid bed supplied by Rupert Cavendish, circa 1985–90, for Freddie Mercury’s London home.

Featuring rosewood inlay, gilt-bronze mounts and richly upholstered silk panels, the bed later appeared in Freddie Mercury: A World of His Own at Sotheby’s, London.
