At the end of 2025, Bild Studios served as the technical production company for the annual Fashion Trust Arabia Awards (FTA), held in Doha at the National Museum of Qatar.

Led by Technical Director Jamie Sunter and Senior Production Manager Matt Malone, our team managed technical planning, engineering oversight, and on-site ex*****on, ensuring every system - from audio and lighting to video and staging, was fully integrated with the creative vision - resulting in a seamless, high-impact live experience.

Big news from our sister brands MARS Volume and MARS Academy. We’re delighted to announce that Dr Jodi Nelson-Tabor has joined the team as Director of MARS Academy.

MARS Academy was founded to address a clear industry need: sharing innovative filmmaking techniques and workflows that equip screen professionals with the skills to future-proof their careers. Jodi’s appointment takes the Academy to the next level and reinforces our mission to safeguard film industry jobs amid AI and digital disruption.

In her new role, Jodi will build on the strong foundations set by the founding team to strategically grow MARS Academy. Drawing on her extensive academic and industry experience, she will expand the course offering, deepen university partnerships and industry engagement, and scale training reach—developing resilient, job-ready talent pipelines for the UK screen industries.
Previously, Jodi was instrumental in building Final Pixel Academy, leading curriculum strategy and cutting-edge real-time training across the full virtual production pipeline. Under her leadership, thousands of crew were trained, and she became a highly respected industry thought leader.
Outgoing Academy Director Joanna Alpe, now returning to full focus on MARS/Bild growth, shared:

Another big year for Bild has come to an end, and we'd like to take a moment to highlight some of the projects we delivered throughout 2025.

From creating the world's largest audio-reactive projection for the TeamLab opening ceremony, to acting as principal contractor for the Our Story installation at the Natural History Museum, 2024 has taken us across disciplines, scales, and continents.

The year also included delivering highly immersive VR experiences for Royal Caribbean in New York, serving as the technical production partner for the Fashion Trust Arabia Awards, providing video solutions for the GCAT Opening Ceremony in London, creating a bespoke LED installation for the Big Brother Season Opener, and most recently delivering a series of interactive wall experiences at Cityscape Global Tradeshow in Riyadh.

Looking ahead, several large-scale permanent installations we've been developing over an extended period will open next year - alongside a number of new visual spectacles we're excited to share.

We're also incredibly proud of the work produced by our sister brands and MARS Academy, delivering best-in-class virtual production solutions and education throughout the year.

Finally, a huge thank you to our amazing clients, collaborators, and partners who continue to help us push the boundaries of visual experiences.

We’re thrilled to finally share a behind-the-scenes glimpse into Our Story with Sir David Attenborough, live at the Natural History Museum ().

In partnership with award-winning Open Planet Studios (), this inspiring journey blends breathtaking animation, immersive projections, and full 360° visuals to explore humanity’s evolving relationship with our planet.

As Principal Contractor, Bild Studios guided the project from concept to completion — overseeing design, build, and production management to ensure this vital story could be shared in a truly unforgettable way.

We're excited to share the 4D VR experience we recently created for Endorphin Partners, unveiled at the Royal Caribbean "Destinations" event in New York City.

The journey began as guests stepped into a physical hot air balloon installation, then continued seamlessly into a fully immersive VR experience — taking audiences on an entertaining yet informative ride through Royal Caribbean's upcoming destination: Perfect Day Mexico.

Bild led the full creative and technical ex*****on — from real-time environment creation in Unreal Engine and audio/SFX design to developing a bespoke control system, defining hardware specifications, integrating rumble and wind machines, and executing the on-site installation.

This is yet another major VR application created by Bild, and we're excited to continue pushing the boundaries by integrating architectural previs with immersive entertainment.
