To help fight against , Mitsubishi Electric will donate a total of 100 million yen (approximately US$ 930,000) to support the activities of medical personnel and children affected by temporary school closures. We also plan to donate medical masks (about 100,000 pieces) and other goods to medical institutions, and manufacture face shields in-house to provide to society.
We will also coordinate a matching gift program in Japan through the Mitsubishi Electric SOCIO-ROOTS Fund. Donations from employees will be matched by the company through this charitable undertaking.
We express our deepest sympathies to those affected by the Spread of COVID-19, and extend a heartfelt thank you to the healthcare professionals, and all those on the front lines working to protect communities and helping those in need.
