Sorry I’ve not been so on point with social media posts this week. 🫣

I’ve been back to finish off some smaller jobs, connect with some new clients for measure ups and quotes etc.

Today culminated in visiting a lovely client in Rothley for a long list of proposed jobs then ended with fitting a replacement acrylic bath panel.

These bath panels are expensive to buy (£90! 😧) and typically fragile and irritating to fit.

Skill and experience overcame my previous attempts and we have a new bath panel and a happy client.

It was only two 2ft deep holes but my word they were hard work. 🥵

4.2m of feather edge fencing installed on Wednesday to replace some old and rotten fencing for my local parish council.

Who doesn’t love some hard graft💪🏼 🛠️🪚📐 and some back pain afterwards?

Installation of concrete gravel boards and fully framed fence panels.

Superb service this week from Barrow Timber Station Ltd 👏🏼

8 fence panel swap at my local village hall.

The old 6ft tall panels went straight to the floor and rotted. So, 300mm tall concrete gravel boards have been installed then new 5ft tall feather edge panels fitted on top.

A short 4m section to remove and replace tomorrow along with some step repairs.

Another project completed today. A very happy client = a very happy me 👏🏼

Benjamin Moore Aura Exterior Satin in No460 herb bouquet. It’s the first time I’ve used this paint. It was highly recommended by Dannel Mortimer Decorating. I must say it’s one of the best top coat finishes I’ve ever used.

Lots of preparation followed by Zinsser Cover Stain grey tinted solvent based primer then the superb Benjamin Moore Aura top coat.

Two coats to all windows, three coats to all sills and lower window bars & four coats to the front door.

Almost over the line with this project. Another two days next week will see it completed.

Front door, kitchen window and lounge door to prepare and paint and we’ll be finished.
