Bring a sun hat!

Our plants will be on sale in two Notts gardens, open this weekend in support of National Garden Scheme charities.

On Saturday and Sunday, 16 and 17 August, from 2 to 5, at Allington in Gonalston, Nottingham NG14 7JA

On Sunday only, 17 August from 2 to 5, at The Poplars in Cotham Lane, Hawton, near Newark NG24 3RL

Tea, coffee and cake available in both gardens. £5 admission, children free. Generous percentage of plant sales to the NGS. Admission tickets may be purchased in advance online at www.ngs.org or at the garden gate.

Descriptions of the gardens, as well as the charities the NGS supports, are also available on the NGS website (www.ngs.org).

On Saturday 9 August, 10 to 4, we will be at a Plant Hunters' Fair at Carsington Water in Derbyshire (DE6 1ST), just outside the Visitor Centre and next to the reservoir. Country walks. Restaurant. Free entry but normal parking charges.

Sunday 10 August will see us in the centre of the University Park Gardens, Nottingham (main campus at NG7 2RD) from 11.30 to 3. Follow the signs to the Millennium Garden to buy your tickets (£5 adults, children free) - or in advance online (www.ngs.org.uk) - to raise funds for the charities the National Garden Scheme supports. A percentage of plant sales also to the NGS.
