Today the children at Grimoldby Primary School created some eye catching seascapes inspired by other artists work.
The children were improving their skills with watercolours, trying to create shade and tone in their work. Some of these children are only young, so a fantastic effort today! 😀👍

This week Grimoldby Primary School art club enjoyed drawing extra large ice-creams to cheer us up in this wet weather! 🤣🌧️ 🌧️

Excited to share the news that the children of Kidgate Academy art club will be exhibiting a selection of their artwork at Hammond House Gallery in Louth!

Friday 26th to Sunday 28th June.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the children to experience displaying their work in a 'real' local gallery as artists!
This is a public exhibition so feel free to pop in to support the children over the weekend of the exhibition, and to view some amazing artwork!
Please note, official opening time on Saturday 27th June- 12-1pm will be reserved for Kidgate art club children and their families.
All other times open to public. Thank you.

A real mix of fantastic artwork created today with Kidgate Academy art club!

Some children were creating their batik designs, others created some fantastic colour work looking at the artist David Hockney, and others made careful studies of an eye.

We also chatted about some exciting news to follow about showing the fabulous artwork the children have created this year!

What a great morning being part of a super fun circus day!
The children created their own circus artwork which looks great in front of the backdrop I painted up yesterday!
