🎶🌳 The Biggest Party of the Year is Coming to Luton! 🌳🎶

As part of the Luton 150 celebrations, Luton Rising presents Party in the Park on Saturday 12 September at Stockwood Park. This exciting live music event will see Kaiser Chiefs headline the stage, joined by special guests The Feeling and The Hoosiers , for what promises to be an unforgettable day of entertainment.

The event has been organised by Luton Rising and is supported by a number of partners and sponsors, including Love Luton and Step Forward Luton , helping to make this landmark celebration possible.

To welcome the thousands of visitors travelling through the town centre on their way to Stockwood Park, Luton BID will be bringing live music to Bute Street, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere and helping to get the celebrations started before the main event begins.

💙 Working Together for a Safer Luton Town Centre 💙

Creating a safe, welcoming and enjoyable town centre is a key priority for Luton BID.

We work closely with partners including Bedfordshire Police , Luton Council and the Luton Safe Initiative to support businesses, address issues and help make Luton town centre a place where people feel safe and confident to visit, work and spend time.

Through initiatives such as the SOS Service and LBAC (Luton Business Against Crime), we help businesses share information, report incidents and respond quickly to concerns, while supporting the town's day and evening economy.

Our Town Centre Ambassadors are also on the ground every day, providing a visible presence across the town centre. From carrying out environmental and security checks to reporting issues and assisting local businesses and visitors, they play an important role in keeping the town centre welcoming for everyone.

By working together and investing in practical solutions, we're helping to create a safer, cleaner and stronger town centre for businesses, residents and visitors alike.

🌞🎉 A Summer to Remember at the Luton BID Parklet! 🎉🌞

What a fantastic summer it's been on Market Hill! Over the past few weeks, hundreds of families, residents and visitors have joined us for a packed programme of free events designed to bring fun, creativity and community spirit to the heart of Luton town centre.

From a roaring visit by our giant T-Rex, delivered in partnership with Step Forward Luton , to family fun at Party in the Parklet, creative activities at Mini Makers, and a fun-filled day with Toytown, it's been wonderful to see so many people enjoying the space.

A special thank you goes to Frasers Plus Luton for stepping in to host A Children's Story when the summer heat made it unsafe to proceed outdoors. Their support ensured families could still enjoy Aaron Spendelow's fantastic live puppetry musical performance in a comfortable setting.

The Parklet remains open until the end of August, offering a welcoming place to relax, meet friends and enjoy the town centre.

Thank you to all our partners, performers, ambassadors and everyone who joined us this summer. We can't wait to bring more exciting events to Luton town centre soon!

Families, friends and film fans are invited to grab a picnic blanket and head to Hat Gardens for a fantastic day of FREE outdoor cinema on Saturday 29 August.

Settle in and enjoy an exciting line-up of blockbuster films on the big screen, with beanbags and deckchairs available on a first come, first served basis.
