Another full bathroom transformation completed by J R Construction 🔨
This one was completely stripped back and ripped out from top to bottom, taking it from an outdated bathroom to a clean, modern space finished to a high standard.
✅ Full rip out and disposal
✅ New flooring throughout
✅ Modern freestanding bath fitted
✅ New vanity unit & basin
✅ New toilet installed
✅ Feature wall tiling
✅ New mirror radiator
✅ Spotlights & fresh modern finish
From the first fix right through to the finishing touches, everything was completed by me with attention to detail throughout.

Removed 2 internal walls to create a modern open-plan layout

Ceilings stripped, -plastered, and fully repainted
In kitchen, utility, dining area, hallway & living room

Electrics relocated and updated to suit new layout

Wall repairs & wallpapering where walls were removed

Flooring repaired and made good where walls previously stood

Now A bright, open, and modern living space with a flawless finish throughout.

The Knock-On Effect of Quality Work

Being a one-man band at JR C Construction, I pride myself on giving every customer 100% quality on every job. I don’t cut corners, and I don’t like leaving anyone unsatisfied.
Most customers don’t fully understand what goes into the work until they have me at their home.
Here’s the reality of being self-employed: when customers ask for extra work while I’m already on-site, I do it. I want to help. But it creates a knock-on effect—the next job gets pushed back. And it’s not just extra requests; delays in materials, weather, or other unexpected issues add to it.
The joys of self-employment? There’s no 9–5, no downtime—it’s straight from one job to the next, seven days a week. But the reward? Knowing every customer gets my full attention and quality workmanship.

Bathroom Renovation / Tiling Job Completed

Another bathroom upgrade finished to a high standard!

🛠️ Work carried out:
• Old bathroom stripped and prepped
• 6mm Jackoboards installed for solid flooring base
• Rapid Mat laid over the top to prevent tile cracking and improve bonding
• New floor tiles laid
• Upstand fitted at the shower base to help retain water and stop leaks
• New towel rail radiator fitted

Statement upstand floor-mounted bath tap installed for a high-end finish
