We’ve had a crazy first quarter of the year, supplying underfloor heating products the length and breadth of the country to support new and existing customers with a variety of projects. Needless to say, we’re very much looking forward to the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend and a welcome few days rest.

The CosyFloor office will close at 5pm today and will reopen at 8:30am on Tuesday 7th April. In the meantime, however you spend the next few days, we hope you enjoy it!

When installing underfloor heating, using quality materials is key for ease of installation and safeguarding future performance. We always recommend the highest performing products for the job.

Take for example our 5-layer PE-RT pipe, which offers greater flexibility and durability compared to traditional 3-layer pipe, making installation easier and reducing stress on bends while maintaining high performance.

We’d also always suggest using Pipe Bend Formers on pipework transition to the manifold to reduce stress and movement on pipework, ensuring protection from potential damage by following trades and maintaining system integrity.

On a complete installation, each of the tiny differences we suggest ensure the project goes off without a hitch. That’s why you should always rely on experts in the field to provide you with the best advice and solutions.

Thinking our products are for commercial use only? Think again!

We’ve recently supplied materials for a home renovation project in Bicester, to upgrade the heating system from wall mounted radiators to underfloor throughout the entire ground floor, providing a significant improvement in heating performance and homeowner comfort.

We were able to supply all of the products needed to complete the installation, which included:
• Prime More Primer – for optimal adhesion
• Underfloor heating High Strength Adhesive – to bond panels and substrate
• 20mm XPS16-20 400kPa grooved & foiled insulation boards – offering high compressive strength and thermal efficiency.
• 16x2mm 5-layer PE-RT pipe – fitted into grooved insulation boards.
• Low Temperature Manifold – installed and tested for Heat Pump compatibility.
