Storm Windows provides hand crafted bespoke secondary glazing to owners of classic, listed and historic properties, significantly increasing their thermal efficiency. Our unique glazing makes it virtually invisible, inside and outside a building - we powder coat and colour match aluminium extrusions to blend perfectly with the primary window, ensuring that it conforms to the strict planning regul

ations protecting older buildings. Benefits include:

Our experienced craftsmen produce all the glazing in our own workshop, so we are able to make glazing to suit many different types of window, including sash, casement and York sliders, along with Gothic, Norman and Ogee arch shapes, with many styles available in a curved-in-plan. We offer our service nationwide, and employ a glazing system that allows us to offer surveys and installation with minimal disruption to your home.

Following the successful completion of an intensive and comprehensive training programme earlier this year, we’re delighted to announce that we will be offering professional sash window servicing from September.

Our sash window servicing includes:

✔ Removal of staff and parting beads
✔ Replacement of worn or broken sash cords
✔ Replacement of sash pulleys
✔ Adjustment of sash windows to ensure smooth operation
✔ Installation of new staff and parting beads
✔ Installation of brush strips for improved draught-proofing
✔ Fitting of new sash catches and locks where required

Regular servicing helps keep your sash windows operating smoothly, improves energy efficiency, and can extend the life of your windows.

We were proud to complete the bespoke design and installation of secondary glazing across the front range of the iconic Coffin Works in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter.
