Not Oak-ay - Unfortunately this mature oak tree had succumb to disease over the many many years it stood proud in the lymington area. With inspection and certification from the local authority - it was professionally and quickly dismantled. Interestingly; the rings displayed a completely rotted and soft heart wood and inner trunk. In this case the question was not if it fell, but when and which way! A replacement will be planted in the autumn.

Winter wonders - With the spread of Ash dieback throughout the country; unfortunately many affected trees are within close proximity to utilities and property. Our latest round of dismantles came in the Beaulieu area where this medium Ash tree was rotting from the base whilst overhanging a pool house. Once again, dismantled and tidied into an art installation without any issues!

Windless Willow - This willow tree was causing continued stress to our client due to mess and leaf shedding. With a saturated lawn, we deployed our impact mat to ensure 0 holes or ruts!

From plant to planter - This oak tree in the New Milton area had sadly suffered some major historic root damage. Although given the best chance of survival over the years - its proximity to property meant the safest option was to dismantle and remove. With the team handling everything from the planning application right up to the repurposing of stump as a planter - we really offer an inclusive service!

Crown reduction - As with many trees at this time of year, the sap has fallen downwards an growth is focused on root systems while we all wait for spring. It’s the perfect time of year to prune and reduce those domestic garden feature trees. A sympathetic reshape and prune of this Sweet Gum tree will give it a chance to truly thrive this spring!

Stripped to fit - This large London Plane gets a drastic reduction from time to time, allowing it to continue thriving whilst not endangering or interfering with the structures surrounding it. With some amazing branch structure this is one beautiful tree to work on!

Reduced for Christmas ! - A long overdue prune for this pear tree just before Christmas. Although pruned hard many years ago, following the old cut points would have lead to a very lopsided tree! It’s important to keep a fruit tree both balanced and as full as possible when pruning to promote the healthiest recovery!
