This is a section of the Bishops Palace, St Davids in Pembrokeshire. Mixed media watercolours & pen.

I started a detailed drawing and the start of the painting in last week’s art class but this morning’s heat and high blood pressure kept me from attending this morning’s final class of term.

However, my home studio is cool and has a fan …and I really wanted to finish it this morning.

I’m sorry not to have had the opportunity to wish my tutor Caroline Bannon and fellow class mates a happy summer ahead! 😎

We enjoyed a visit to The Palette Club exhibition earlier today. I’m always interested to look at other artists work, and especially like to support other locally based artists. It’s also good to appreciate the competition! There are some really lovely paintings on show.
