Spring is on the way and I’m hoping to open The Green Shed Lytham St Annes on Sundays and will enjoy catching up with everyone’s stories of winter in the garden.
Meanwhile I’ve been busy opening a shop on the Crescent selling lovely vintage pieces called Peck&Noah, please call in for a chat, it’s next to the Coven.

Super Succulents for sale, large ones at £10, some smaller ones available too. Gorgeous heucheras at £4 and foxgloves at £3. I’m around today if you want to call in, it’s meant to brighten up this afternoon whereas the weekend is dismal again …..Hope to see you ….. Jane

I’ve been busy at The Green Shed mostly prepping for next year, the weekend weather has been so awful with all the rain, and this weekend is no different apparently! The best news is I have a new greenhouse arriving next week and I’ve needed to reorganise everything. This has resulted in some things becoming available for sale …… this very sweet pair of cast iron children’s garden seats are for sale at £50 the pair. Collection from the Green Shed, or I can drop them off if you’re nearby. Jane

Such amazing weather we have!! The Green Shed is open on Sunday 4th June 10 - 4, lots of new things to see ….. white foxgloves, penstemons, salvia, gaura, all perennials to plant now. I also have some lovely violas. Plenty of ready planted pots to take home and enjoy. I’m not open on Saturday this week as I’m off to an Alpine Show in Stockport. Look forward to seeing you on Sunday ……

Phew! Thanks to Becky and her patience I’m back! I can get back on to my Green Shed page, so pleased. I have lots of pretty things for colourful pots and borders. Do pop in, I’m open 10 - 4 tomorrow. A big thank you to Hayley Thomas for posting on my behalf, so very kind of her. Hope everyone enjoyed Coronation Day, I’ve included a picture of my two companions today who managed to sleep through it while I worked in the greenhouse and listened on the radio.

Yay! I have a new banner to put up! It will help people find me. The season is very slow this year but The Green Shed is ready to open its doors, the gate will be open Saturday and Sunday for anyone wanting to visit. I have plants to see and I’m full of ideas for things to enjoy this year. Do call in and commiserate about all the things we’ve lost this winter, and celebrate all the plants that made it through!!

Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and an exciting New Year of fab gardening …… I have lots of beautiful pots waiting to be planted up and taken off to new homes ….. Roll on Spring! I am always happy when we pass the shortest day (21st Dec) and from then on it’s a hop, skip and a jump into Spring. I so look forward to seeing you all again next year at The Green Shed. The Green Shed is busy raising seeds, taking cuttings and planting bulbs ready for a great Spring in 2023. The Nursery will be closing for the Winter. I want to thank all the amazing gardeners I’ve met this year, friends I have made and wonderful support I have received. I look forward to next year when we can all enjoy the simple pleasure of beautiful plants. I will be pottering around at The Green Shed most days and if I see you at the gate you will be most welcome …..
