HUGE BEECH REMOVAL IN 30° HEAT

A look at a recent beech tree removal job from start to finish. The photos show the process and what we found once the tree was dismantled.

From the outside, the tree still looked established, but once sections were removed it became clear there was extensive hollowing and decay inside the stem. The after photos show just how compromised the structure had become.

With the tree located close to a road and public access areas, the safest option was to carefully dismantle and remove it.

A great team effort on this one, completed safely and efficiently with plenty of rigging and careful planning involved throughout the job.

Unfortunately, today we are removing the large beech tree at the MCA Club after it has been identified as a significant risk to public safety and is considered at risk of failure.

It is always sad to see such a mature tree removed, especially one that has been part of the local area for many years. However, following extensive surveys, assessments, and ongoing monitoring, the decision has been made that removal is necessary for insurance and safety purposes.

With the tree positioned in a high footfall area overlooking the club, public road, and pavement, community safety has to remain the main priority. While removal is always a last resort, in this case it is unfortunately the only responsible option.

Large conifer removal completed safely and professionally due to the size and close proximity to surrounding fences and neighbouring properties. 🌲

The tree was carefully dismantled in sections using climbing techniques and lowering methods to ensure the work was carried out safely and efficiently. All timber and waste removed from site, leaving the garden clean and tidy on completion.
