Meet our newest apprentice! 👋🔧

It's great to welcome Ivy to the Solitaire team as she begins her apprenticeship and gets stuck into learning the trade.

Here she is gaining some hands-on experience, helping one of our engineers service a commercial water heater at a local school.

There's no better way to learn than working alongside our experienced team, and we're pleased to be supporting the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

Go Ivy! 🧡

With colder days ahead, now’s a good time to show it some love. An annual service helps keep your boiler running safely and efficiently, and can spot small problems before they leave you reaching for an extra jumper!

Can you hear your toilet running long after you’ve flushed? 🚽💧 A constant trickle into the bowl is easy to overlook, but it can waste water and add to your bills.

First, check that the flush button isn’t sticking. If the water keeps running, there could be a problem with the fill valve or flush mechanism that needs attention.

Our plumbing team can find the cause and get it sorted. One less thing running up your water bill!

As the heating starts going back on and energy bills become a bigger part of the household budget again, there are a few simple things worth checking.
If your radiators are cold at the top, they may need bleeding – take a look at our simple how-to video from Solitaire Director Paul on our website here - https://solitairegrp.com/videos/

It’s also worth:
✅ Keeping furniture away from radiators so it doesn’t block the heat
✅ Checking your heating controls and adjusting timings to suit your routine
✅ Making sure your boiler is properly maintained with an annual service

Small checks can help your heating system work more effectively and make sure you’re not wasting energy unnecessarily.

Being trusted with the next job, and the one after that, means a lot to the Solitaire team - thanks Thomas.

"We have used Solitaire since the very start and they have always been amazing - 2 bathrooms, replacement oil tank and boiler services each year. They are the best of the best and I have recommended them to many friends who are also very very happy!

George serviced our boiler today and always was on time, a1 communication from booking and throughout and also changing a deal that was noted on the last service.

Look no further for anything you need they will look after you from start to finish! Thanks team as always!!"
