Another transformation completed in Maldon

We recently installed premium turf for this customer to create a fresh, clean finish alongside their outdoor entertaining area.

To get the finish right, we first got the digger in to grade off and level the area properly. We then spread and levelled conditioning topsoil before laying the new turf.

We recently completed a full planting project in Maldon, transforming a bare border into a vibrant, structured garden space.

The planting scheme includes a mix of:

🌸 Azaleas
🌿 Rhododendrons
🍁 Red Robin (Photinia)
🌱 Escallonia

All selected to provide year-round structure, colour, and interest.

To finish it off, we applied Melcourt composted fine bark, giving a clean, professional look while helping retain moisture and suppress weeds.

We planted 40 laurel hedging plants to create a natural, evergreen privacy screen along this boundary. What was once an open fence line will soon grow into a dense, green wall giving the customer privacy, wind protection and year-round colour 🌱

For strong, healthy establishment we planted using Vitax Blood, Fish & Bone, John Innes compost, and finished with Melcourt Composted Fine Bark mulch to lock in moisture and protect the soil.

Another happy customer and a garden that will only get better with time 🙌

Fresh planting project completed in Maldon! ✨
We installed a beautiful row of Red Robin (Photinia) shrubs to create a vibrant, long-lasting border along the front garden. These shrubs will provide year-round colour, with their striking red new growth adding a stunning contrast to the greenery.

A neat mulch finish was applied to help retain moisture and suppress weeds, giving the garden a clean and professional look.

Box Hedge Maintenance – Tolleshunt D’Arcy

This front garden has been carefully maintained throughout the year, with a recent visit to carry out the following:

• Box hedging professionally trimmed to a clean, uniform shape
• Ground area fully weeded and prepared
• Black Composted Fine bark applied to suppress weeds and improve moisture retention
• Regular application of specialist boxwood fertiliser to maintain strong, healthy growth and vibrant green foliage

Consistent care has kept these hedges looking lush, healthy, and in excellent condition all year round.

🌲 Tree Reduction & Professional Woodchipping Service 🌲
A recent project completed by BH GardenService involved the reduction and removal of Two Spruce trees that had outgrown their space and were obstructing access and natural light at the front of this property.

Our team carried out a safe and efficient takedown, followed by on-site woodchipping using commercial-grade equipment. This allowed for minimal disruption, full waste management, and a much-improved appearance of the space.
