On Easter Sunday……we lost a real gentleman, a genuinely nice guy, who was up there with the best.

A much loved part of our little mid week football group.
This news hit us all hard, and it’s not an easy one to get our heads round currently.

I’m feeling very privileged to have kicked a football around with him.
Every interaction was positive, full of smiles and laughs…..especially recently, as both our teams try to avoid premiership relegation

Last Wednesday, he put a great shift in, infuriating a few with his top class shot stopping skills on the night.
Another top night, with a fantastic group of guys.

A fellow member of the group put this picture together today, and I thought it was worthy of a share outside of our little group.

Most of us are part of a group, whether it’s family, work, sporting, hobby……..
Take care of each other.
The world is a beautiful thing to be part of.
More importantly, feel no shame if you are not at your best and things are washing over you, to a point that you feel you cannot escape it.
Take a moment to reach out…..no shame, no embarrassment…….just know that we are all here for each other….to highlight that brighter day ahead, through conversation and support.

It was always a real pleasure…..and you will be talked about in high regard at every future kick around ⚽️
