Dear Women Friends,
At this busy time of year, we offer you a chance to pause and sit in circle with us, to wander the woods timelessly, to visit the flowing waters.....if you have been wanting to join a circle for a while and feel like you cannot regularly commit, maybe this is your chance to gift yourself a pause. In the remembering that our pause supports all those around us, especially those who are dependent upon us.
As we draw nearer to the expansiveness of the Summer Solstice: the longest day and shortest night, I am drawing near to my inner winter, my voluntary retreat into my cave. The time of the month when I bleed and sleep and dream more. When I spend more time within, and my outer world contracts a little.
I invite you to consider this theme of expansion and contraction. This rhythm is life. This movement is life.
In my personal journey and with the group of women who are part of this year's Thirteen Moons journey, we are exploring this.
Where do I feel hardness is my life? Where do I feel fixed? And when? When do I contract? When do I expand? What/When/Who allows me to expand?
What is my relationship between the two? Do they create tension in me? Or a healthy breathing rhythm? Can I honour the transition between the two in some way? Can I feel the rhythm?
