Broken shower diagnosed and repaired same day

The lights were on but nobody was home!

Returning customer contacted me with the shower unit lit but not working,

Having a new born in the house is got there ASAP found voltage on the Neutral

Replaced the pull cord shower switch and away we go, i left them to race to see who had the first shower after that

Check this Horror out!! 😱🤯🙃

Who says size doesn't matter!? 🤣

Thats right... damp proofers recently decided to hang a 1200 x 600 double radiator on plasterboard wall, with a decent void behind it
(They'd have known this as they worked on it)
With those tiny red plugs and screws!

Radiator was being held up by the pipework and the kitchen table pushed against it

Removed and replaced with the appropriate core fix big boy fixings and re installed

If you want a proper job doing then you know where to come👌

🌲🎅 Wishing all my customers a Very Merry Christmas 🎅🌲

I have downed tools now and back in January to spend some time with the family and some fresh air with the famous Keano the Boxer!

I only came for the boiler service 🫠🙃🤣
Now im posing for insurance purposes for the customers new laminate! 📸😎

** side note: She has been my customer for a few years now and honestly when it hits the fan like it did today... you need this style customer in your life! Full full credit where its due!

Walked in and smelt gas, test was dropping like a stone so on the hunt i went,
Unfortunately I had to break into the flooring, to my delight was described as "getting rid anyway! 👏🤣" so was told to leave the dustsheets protection in the van

So, under the smallest void beneath the house is crawled, finally found it to a redundant gas pipe that had corroded (see video in the comment)

Along with a packet of Quavers that expired in 1990, 1 random tap dance shoe and a mouldy children's Bible

So, no more gas leaks, boiler serviced (which was all i came to do🤣)

🔧🔥 Boiler & Unvented cylinder from this week in Swinton 🔥🔧

Customer wanted to bring the boiler down from the loft to the back of the house utility room due to problems over the years with the original installers set up.

The Vaillant boiler was only 2years old so in perfect condition to re use, adding the new flue and other relevant bits.

The unvented cylinder was replaced as this wasn't in great condition and alot older.

All pipework was taken out of the loft and re installed in copper to feed a complete new section of the property, this included running 22mm pipework as closely achievable to the stop tap as possible, balanced cold now feeding multiple outlets rather than just the one!

Customer opted for zonal heating, this was installed with Hive smart heating controls to control up and downstairs radiators independently

New upgraded gas run up into 28mm due to the extra run and boiler tolerances

Full heating system and controls re wired from fresh

Waste removal arranged on site with a waste carrying licenced and insured firm, roofer organised for the customer to re slate over the original vertical flue in the loft.
