About the role:
As a Trainee Retrofit Assessor your main duties will be to carry out surveys in the client homes to determine eligibility and to assess the most appropriate measures, products, or services available to meet client needs.
You will produce high quality Energy Performance Certificates, Retrofit Assessments and other technical assessments as required, meeting high standards in performance, including client service and taking into account of the needs of vulnerable clients.
You'll be the direct contact between residents and our project teams and will help with the retrofit co-ordination and assessment of domestic dwellings under multiple concurrent projects.
About you:
You will have:
· Strong experience of identifying areas of improvement and problem solving
· Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced team
· Ability to make decisions effectively, using either own knowledge or available data
· Good analytical and presentation skills - written and verbal - and fluency in use of MSOffice office suite
· Good interpersonal skills, able to confidently persuade and inform key senior stakeholders and residents
· Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
As travel to sites is a fundamental part of your role, you'll need a full driving licence and have access to transport to be able to travel to sites.
Must be also be flexible in terms of working location as overnight stays may be required, and there may be a requirement to work across the UK.
Due to the varied and a unique nature of the organisation, a variety of backgrounds will be considered relevant. We are particularly interested by applications from more junior candidates who are willing to learn on the job.
As part of your induction and onboarding you will be required to attend training at the retrofit academy.
