Every project comes with its own challenges, and this one was no exception.
Working at a supported accommodation facility in Bristol, located within a conservation area, meant preserving the building's external appearance was just as important as improving its internal comfort. That's where XPEL Clear View Plus 70 was the ideal solution, delivering excellent solar heat rejection and glare reduction while maintaining the building's original appearance.
The project also required careful planning and coordination due to the safeguarding environment. Working respectfully around residents and staff, minimising disruption, and maintaining a safe working environment throughout the installation were just as important as the installation itself.
The result is a more comfortable, energy-efficient building without compromising its character or the people who use it every day.

📏 Getting a window film quote has never been easier!
To help us provide the most accurate quotation, we've created a simple step-by-step measuring guide.
Simply:
✅ Measure each pane of glass individually (in cm)

✅ Round up to the next centimetre

✅ Take photos from both the inside and outside

✅ Photograph any kite marks (check all four corners, inside and outside)

✅ If there are no kite marks, just let us know by writing "No Kite Marks"

✅ Tell us why you're looking for window film – whether it's heat rejection, daytime privacy, glare reduction or to protect your space from the sun's harmful rays.

✅ Don't forget to include your name and location.

On site at Thorsten Fields in Congleton installing XPEL Vision Blend 27 on this Bloor new build.
Modern homes like this look great with all the glass… but it does come with a trade-off — excess heat, glare, and long-term UV damage to floors and furnishings.
Blend 27 is a well-balanced film that tackles all three.
It gives you daytime privacy from the outside, while keeping the view out clear from inside — so you don’t lose that open feel these homes are designed for.
