Introducing Stables

This low-profile, timber-clad home replaces an existing structure within the greenbelt, carefully designed to preserve openness and meet planning policy. The four-bedroom house includes a basement leisure suite with a swimming pool and games room, naturally lit via dramatic light wells and a sunken courtyard. A restrained material palette, green roof, and organic landscaping strategy help embed the building into its semi-rural setting, enhancing biodiversity and connecting the architecture with nature.

Taking a look back at Park House, a family home in the Heatons.

Behind the front door of Park House are plenty of surprises. Such as the glazed screen and panelled walls which extend the view through to the rear garden whilst the large clerestory window pulls light in from above.

We are currently preparing this scheme for planning.

At its heart the kitchen takes centre stage, a space designed for hosting and bringing people together. Generous glazing opens the extension into the garden, creating a fluid connection between inside and out.

Above, a new dormer transforms the existing roof conversion, opening it up with light and space to form the ultimate master suite.

Taking a look back at a project we completed last year.

The small side extension to this Edwardian terrace creates a new family space directly connected to the garden. The folded timber-lined rooflights bring a unique character and warmth to the space.

Happy to share some concept images of our latest scheme in Hale.

The form is informed by the geometry of the existing bay window, resulting internally in an extension that balances open-plan spatial qualities with the creation of distinct zones.

We are looking forward to developing this one further with our client.

Following our 5th Birthday last week we are taking a look back at the first project we completed, Atwood.

A slender addition to a Victorian townhouse maximises the potential of the plot by utilising redundant space at the side of the property. The main family space is elongated creating a more social environment.

On the first floor the extension connects into the existing beneath a frameless glass skylight, providing access to the new family bathroom and office space. The old brickwork to the side of the house is exposed internally, expressing the original character.

Our clients came to us wanting to rationalise the rear elevation, as the property had previously undergone two separate rear extensions, one with a pitched roof and the other flat.

Through connecting the two extensions and rationalising their form, we have created a contemporary open plan family space that flows seamlessly between inside and outside living, without the need for further extension.

Had a great evening at Awards last night with both of our projects shortlisted in the Small Project & Extension category!
Pleased to share that Lindop came away with the win.

A credit to the team and all those involved in the project.

It’s always interesting to look back at the early design stages once a project is complete. Renders are a key part of how we communicate our vision to clients — a glimpse into what’s to come. Swipe to see how closely the concept image matches the final build.

We’re proud of how this one turned out.
