Job Title: Tractor Driver / Groundsperson
Location: Wigan & Bolton
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible depending on candidate)

About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Tractor Driver / Groundsperson to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be operating tractors and mowing equipment to maintain large grassed areas of schools to a high standard.
This is a practical, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and has experience with agricultural or grounds maintenance machinery.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating large (100Hp) tractors and large-area mowing equipment safely and efficiently, on and off public highways
- Maintaining large grassed areas including fields, sports areas, and open spaces
- Carrying out routine machinery checks and basic maintenance
- Assisting with general grounds maintenance duties when required
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed schedules
- Following all health and safety procedures
- A full enhanced DBS cerJficate will be essential

Requirements
- Experience operating tractors or similar agricultural machinery
- Ability to operate large-area mowing equipment (preferred but training may be provided)

- Full UK driving licence
- Good awareness of machinery safety and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

Desirable
- Previous grounds maintenance or agricultural experience
- Machinery or tractor cerJficates/training
- Experience with turf or sports ground maintenance
