On the weekend of 31 August - 1st September the Grenadier Guards will be exercising their right to the “ Freedom of the City “ of Manchester

Saturday will be the parade stepping off from Central library at 1030 hrs

Nijmegen Company of the Grenadier Guards will be wearing tunics and Bearskins carrying rifles with Bayonets fixed

They will be escorted by The Regimental Band , all Guardsman retired are invited to march as a party behind Nijmegen Company, Dark suit or blazer with Regimental Tie if possible , no Berets to be worn. To participate please contact Frank Green

The next Day on Sunday 1 st September 12-1700 hrs there will be a fun day at Victoria Warehouse attached is the link and there will be lots of activities and all general public are invited to meet the soldiers and enjoy all the activities that have been provided

From filling up oil Tanks to , "hey Google,turn the heating up"

The old Oil boiler got replaced with a nice new Baxi combi 2 , complete with 10-year warranty.
We also fitted a Google Nest so the customer can turn the heating on from anywhere in the world , or even with their voice (if you're that way inclined) .

Out with the old . The dangerous old boiler was immediately turned off during a safety check .

In with the new. A shiny Main Eco Compact takes its place and comes with a 5 -year warranty for the extra peace of mind .

Hello everyone, Guardsman Gas Junior is currently looking for an administrative assistant. Please see below the finer details for this position.
Administrative assistant
The role will include; receiving and responding to enquiries,organising and prioritising enquiries into a list of works to be completed,scheduling work,maintaining an invoice log and other admin tasks.

The hours will be 15 hours per week.

The role will be home based and all equipment for the role will be provided.

The Rate of pay will be £11/Hour

A great little job for the guardsman Gas family completed last week.
Alex and Tom installed a retrofit under floor heating system. With three programmable room thermostats controlling each zone.
All ready for Screed to be laid on top and kitchen refurb to follow. The customer is over the moon and We can't wait to see the finished product.

Apprentice required for imminent start

Exciting news Guardsman Gas Junior is recruiting!
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and passionate apprentice gas engineer. If you are interested in the position, please email a CV and cover letter to the email address at the bottom of this post.

The successful applicant will be paid over the apprentice minimum wage and work a 40-hour week. You will work towards an NVQ level 3 apprenticeship in gas. At the end of three years the successful candidate will be gas safe registered, having completed an extensive apprenticeship with experience in installs, breakdowns and servicing.
