Just arrived - Fernage, in Burnage. Reckon they enjoyed the rain a little bit more than I did yesterday. Lovely forecast for the weekend Buddists!

*3* outdoor plant deliveries this week: perennials (inc. ferns), herbs and shrubs.

We’ve got a rather nice houseplant selection at the moment - and houseplant pots too, mostly made in Italy and Portugal.

Sorry, but our Bud-grown veg plants are now thin on the ground: we have a limited amount of Red Russian Kale (3 plants in a 9cm pot), though plenty of cucumber and squash plants (but they won’t last long).

There’s still time to sow seed of some varieties - more than you might think. If you need advice, just ask 😁

Another week, more plants 😝
The rain and cooler weather has been welcomed at Bud HQ, and the poor suffering plants have shown their appreciation - everything is so lush!

If you’re looking for veg plants - you might well be after the bonkers spring we’ve had - perhaps we can help a bit. We still have some ‘Tumbling Tom’ tomatoes, lots of cucumber plants, just a few yellow courgettes, lots of ‘Pattison Blanc’, which resembles a small, white flying saucer, and some squashes.

It’s not too late to sow dwarf French beans, beetroot, carrots, chard, lettuce, radish, bulb fennel and courgettes. We have a little seed top-up arriving from our organic seed supplier this week - on sale from Thursday.

We’ve loads of gorgeous plants in stock, with more on the way. A warm and sunny week and weekend ahead is forecast 🌞 and though the wet weather has been rather annoying (our sales have definitely suffered), the rain has made everything very lush!

And remember, we’re open on bank holiday Monday too, 10am-5pm.

From 1st October we close at 4pm.
We’re closed in January and February, except for four days at the end of January/beginning of February.

Cow Parsley at the top of the Fallowfield Loop in Levenshulme, Red Campion in my lawn and Ragged Robin in a pot at Bud. We sell all 3 and many more natives at just £3.50 per pot.
