Hi everyone
We would very much like to thank all our new and existing customers from when we started trading this year. Due to the Coronavirus and most businesses were required to be closed under the Government restrictions from March 23rd, business for us became extremely busy as we could supply plants and compost from a contactless delivery service on pre-ordered goods.
Due to a higher than normal demand for deliveries we did succumb to a small number of delays in getting customers’ orders to them on time, plus a couple of other unforeseen circumstances due to the lockdown or personal reasons that were out of our control. So we would like to thank those who generously waited patiently for their orders it is much appreciated.
We will remain closed, as we have done since March when we were going to open to the public, but then Covid-19 put paid to that idea; to help the NHS and keep both ourselves safe and those of the public from this pandemic. We are still taking orders by phone and by WhatsApp whilst our new website is being developed and thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time. Keep safe and we hope to serve customers on our premises when we deem it safe to do so.
Our premises has only a narrow entrance which is less than 2 meters wide and 30 meters long and therefore is not suitable for social distancing or to implement a one way system. We do not want people queuing up along the path outside as this is in a residential area. It would put our neighbours at risk if the public were waiting outside their homes as a limited number of customers could be allowed in at any one time. Notwithstanding this, as we are a small family run business, as it is just the two of us.
We will post an update for when we will be taking appointments to visit the site again.
