I love site progress photos! And this gorgeous property we have designed is nearing completion. The bathrooms have been executed exactly as envisioned and the attention to detail is incredible.

Keep watching for the grand reveal of this beautiful Anglesey Manor House, fully restored and brought back to its former glory.

The boathouse our latest project!

From my own experience travelling—and designing high-end residential and hospitality spaces—I’ve seen exactly what makes people come back (and what makes them scroll past).

The best-performing stays always have:
• A strong sense of place—authentic to their surroundings
• Interiors that feel considered, not thrown together
• Comfort that goes beyond the basics
• Standout features—log burners, outdoor living, statement bathrooms

Because when a space feels right, people remember it.
And more importantly—they rebook it.

This thinking has shaped my latest project: a boathouse retreat.

Rather than just designing a space, I approached it as a guest:
What would make me choose this? Stay longer? Come back?

The result is a design that:
• Connects completely to its waterside setting
• Blends character with refined, modern comfort
• Focuses on atmosphere, flow, and experience—not just aesthetics

If you’re creating or upgrading a holiday let,
the question isn’t “does it look nice?”

It’s: would someone choose this over everything else available?

That’s where design makes the difference.

Proud to see one of our recent projects featured by Polyflor as a case study.

Rhos Sea Manor — a former church reimagined into a large-scale hospitality space — was a project that required a careful balance between preserving architectural character and delivering a high-performing, commercially viable interior.

Material selection played a critical role.

The use of Polyflor’s Expona Commercial LVT allowed us to introduce warmth, durability and longevity, while using a floor design that seamlessly fitted with the building’s original features and scale.

For projects like this, design isn’t just about how a space looks — it’s about how it performs over time, how it feels, and how it supports the way the space is used.

A great collaboration and a strong example of material-thinking for longevity as well as aesthetic design in practice.

I’ve realised something…
No matter where I am in the world, I always end up photographing doors.

The older, bigger and more detailed the better.

There’s just something about them

What’s on my client mood boards right now…
Layered neutrals, organic textures and timeless materials that bring a space to life.

Design isn’t just how it looks — it’s how it feels.

April interiors obsession
Warm woods, cool marble, iconic Murano glass, and art with soul.
A meeting of rustic charm, mid-century ease, and classic beauty.

In a world built around speed,
design asks you to slow down.

Great spaces aren’t accidental.
They’re shaped in the moments most people rush—
the conversations, the details, the decisions that define everything.

The design that lasts…
the design people remember…
is never rushed.

It’s considered.
Intentional.
Precise.

The difference between a good space and a great one?
Time.

Start early.
Give it the time it deserves.

I recently visited the Olivetti Showroom and Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice, both designed by Carlo Scarpa.

The attention to detail is exceptional.
Nothing rushed. Nothing overlooked.

Every junction, every material, every line—considered.

It’s genuinely inspiring.
