R&D Home Improvements We are 2 professional traders both in Flooring and Painting & Decorating. Over 10 years experience! Both have around 11 years experience in our trades.

R&D Home Improvements is a family run business by 2 best friends from school. Spent more than half of that time working for other people and making them money when we could have started our business years earlier than we have and left something for the future. For 4 years we have now worked for ourselves and trying to leave something for our kids, their kids and so on. We take full pride in every

Full strip back to a proper fresh finish 🔥

This one needed doing right from the start—old wallpaper stripped off, everything prepped and filled properly (after finding some hidden surprises) then brought it back to life with a clean, sharp finish. No cutting corners, just a solid job done properly.

Buzzing with how this one turned out after a good week of graft 🙌

I must say its been a tedious job with over 70 spindles going from gloss to satinwood white with the handrail and posts colour matched to f&b off-black satinwood. Along with all doors primed and painted the same colour.
All the hallway walls and ceiling prepped and painted brilliant white vynal matt .

We done a lovely room in a supported living home for a young disabled man to go straight into mirroring 2 of their favourite colours just like they have at home, making it for a nice comfort feeling for them. Such a lovely feeling making a lovely space for someone in their harder times! 😊

Paint supplied by Crown Decorating Centres Crown extreme clean scrubbable matt used on the walls, both colours matched by the customer and they did a good job with it too.

What a difference!! What a transformation!

It's not just a lick of paint, we fully cleaned down this greasy kitchen and mouldy bathroom walls, ceiling and woodwork and treated it all correctly with Zinsser. Then hit with the appropriate trade paint and what a finish it turned out. Would of loved to do a lot more in the bathroom but was only suppose to paint the ceiling white and I just couldn't leave it at just that!

Now here's the greasy and mouldy kitchen and bathroom from 2days ago!
Now that's a transformation 👏 took a lot of determination and elbow grease and using all the right materials/paint.
Kitchen was finished with Heritage durable matt in beachcomb grey.
