Externally beaded windows… illegal? 👀

Nope. 😂

Here’s a quick look at removing and refitting a glazed unit in an externally beaded window.

There’s a little more to the security of a window than simply which side the glazing beads sit on — it’s the complete glazing system and how it’s been designed and fitted.

Hopefully another useful little insight into what actually goes on behind the scenes. 👍🏻

A little Monday afternoon before and after for one of our long-standing customers. 🏡

This time we replaced their rear door along with three windows at the front of the property.

The old, intrusive leadwork was removed and replaced with clear glass, creating a much cleaner look and allowing far more natural light into the home. We also fitted fire-escape hinges to the first-floor windows for that added bit of safety.

A lovely transformation—and, most importantly, another delighted customer. 😊

Nothing wrong with this roof lantern—the problem was the roof itself.

A separate roofing company needed full access to apply a new bitumen roof covering, so we carefully removed the existing lantern ready for their work to be completed.

Once they’ve finished, we’ll return to refit and reseal it correctly 👍🏻

Sometimes one trade has to step out of the way so another can do their job properly.
