Please note that any information given us purely to help you should you wish please feel free to double check/confirm with Citizens Advice, Consumer Rights Department, I could have kept all the information / advice to myself in the hope that not everyone would put a claim in but that would have morally made me exactly like the Directors of Soak Interiors Ltd, I am nothing like them
To date I have had 10 people contact this facebook site regarding not fulfilling our contracts which has come to a total of approx. £65,469.53 (if all figures given are correct).
I'm presuming we all will have received our letters on 06.12.24 from Anderson Brookes advising that they have been instructed by Soak Interiors board of Directors on 03.12.24 to prepare a statement of affairs and holding a meeting to commence the liquidation.
A virtual meeting of creditors has been arranged for 12.12.24 @ 11.00am.
Anderson Brookes charge out rates are displayed in the letter
Anderson Brookes fixed fee basis is £12,500.00
Anderson Brookes to be paid of convening the creditors meeting £4,000.00
This is plus any registered secured creditors i.e suppliers, staff wages etc
Hence we are at the bottom of the pecking order of a lot of debt accrued by Soak Interiors Ltd
The only advice they can give is to complete a Registered unsecured creditors form available on
www.citizensadvice.org.uk
and send by recorded delivery to

This is as well as the Proof of Debt - General Form provided by Anderson Brookes in their letter, they will also provide forms electronically via [email protected]
Some people will be able to get assistance from their banks, but it sounds like the Directors of Soak Interiors Ltd knew exactly what they were doing in the way they requested payment and the speed in which they required payment.
I'm sorry if this sounds all doom and gloom but Anderson Brookes will have to act according to Insolvency Rules 2016
Final advice from Citizens Advice was that if I personally didn't do any of the above I would not get a penny, at least by doing the
Registered Unsecured Creditors Form
and
Proof of Debt - General Form
I may get some, all or nothing returned, but at least I will have tried
I have also been advised by another third party that we could maybe prove it was fraud, but I am not experienced enough in this matter, if anyone would like to take that matter up as a group and can provide certification I will supply all the information I have. Please advise if anyone does not want their information passed on.
Sorry to be the bearer of this news and to hear that so many people have been affected.
Final word, I hope Peter John Colbert and Claire had a wonderful wedding day in August 2024 as I'm guessing all their suppliers got paid...........but with who's money 💰 💰 💰 💰
