Absolutely loved partnering up with last month at the OWO in London for a wonderful evening centred around the future of after sales.
And what a beautiful location to host the event!

We showcased our Japanese Mending skills through a live demonstration, and it was so great to introduce the techniques of Sashiko and Boro stitch along with discussing the importance of repair.

The evening finished with a fascinating presentation with Theophile Chambolle to share insights on the partnership, alongside Save Your Wardrobes Co founders Hasna Kourda and Medhi Doghri, sharing insights into how repair is becoming part of the everyday retail journey and how after sales can create stronger customer relationships, long term value, and measurable impact beyond the point of sale.

Michelle messaged me about her beautiful beloved silk jacket which had a fair few wear and tear areas on it and was in desperate need of some repair.

Michelle let me have full creative control of her jacket and it has been one of my favourite pieces to work on!

I love the subtlety of the Boro stitch across the pattern on this jacket and it’s always the best feeling to hear how happy you are with the results ♥️ also always nice to receive a lovely compliment 😉

Absolutely loved working on this repair for one of our lovely customers!

Paul’s jacket was in need of a bit of tlc, so we got to work and used the Japanese mending technique of Boro stitch to repair the mend on the sleeve and give the jacket a new lease of life!

It’s always so good to hear how happy you guys are with your repairs from us 💙
