From raw materials to a high-end finish, this complete dressing room suite was handcrafted on-site by NPM.

The NPM Build Specs:

- Rock-Solid Construction: Built using 18mm ply throughout.

- Heavy-Duty Detailing: Features a massive 36mm worktop and matching shelving for a premium, bold look.

- Precision Finish: Every single edge was hand-routed by NPM for a smooth, high-quality profile.

- Premium Hardware: Fitted with soft-close technology on every drawer and door for that silent, luxury feel.

Working in conjunction with Teal Property Services , the suite was finished in a durable Satin Yacht Varnish and the room decorated in Soft Lemon.

A closer look at the NPM under-stair transformation. This wasn't a pre-made kit—it was handcrafted right here using 18mm ply to ensure maximum strength and a millimetre-perfect fit.

NPM constructed all the furniture on-site from 18mm ply, routing every edge for a smooth, high-end profile. This bespoke joinery included a full dressing room setup and custom under-stair storage.

WORK IN PROGRESS: The Final Stretch 🔨

From raw boards to the final structure! As you can see, the upper shelving units and the matching top bridge are now officially in place, completing the frame of this bespoke vanity and wardrobe.

The Finishing Touch:
The build is now ready for the final stage—multiple coats of high-quality clear satin yacht varnish. We’ve chosen this specific finish for two reasons:

1. Hard-wearing Protection: It creates an incredibly durable, spill-resistant surface that can handle daily use for years to come.

2. Sophisticated Glow: The satin finish provides a smooth, low-sheen look that makes the natural grain "pop" without the heavy reflection of a high gloss, keeping the aesthetic modern and elegant.

WORK IN PROGRESS 🛠️

From raw boards to a custom built-in in just 3 days. This bespoke wardrobe and dresser unit is being fabricated 100% on-site from scratch to ensure a millimetre-perfect fit.

The Build So Far:
✅ Custom 36mm Worktop: Double-thickness laminated ply, compressed and hand-routed with a full bullnose edge for a high-end, chunky feel.
✅ Precision Scribing: Using guide-rail precision for a "dead-tight" fit against the ceiling and walls—no gaps, no fillers.
✅ Clean Joinery: Zero visible fixings on the exterior. Every joint is engineered from the inside for a seamless, professional look.

What’s Next?
We’re not quite finished yet! Monday’s agenda includes the final cubby shelves, the matching 36mm top bridge, and a few final trims. Once the build is locked in, it’s getting a clear yacht varnish to protect the wood and make that natural grain pop.
