🚨Important announcement🚨
I know I've been terrible with posting all my orders recently. August has been a whirlwind with lots of lovely commissioned cakes going out and also the reason for this post: I have been preparing for a new full time job.
This has been a scary but also exciting decision thought on for a couple years. It's a challenge for myself, one I had to try, and one I hope will be fulfilling and invigorating.
However, I do not want to give up my cake business entirely. Frenchie's Frostings is my own little business and, before it was that, a passion.
That being said, due to the long shifts and demands of the new job, I will need to massively scale my business back.
So what does that actually mean for Frenchie's Frostings?
🧁 I will be reducing the number of orders I can take on for dates, as well as being more restricted with dates themselves. I will likely only take orders on that can be made within my off period shift-wise. Which means...
🍰...It'll be unlikely I can do last minute orders as much as I have done in the past. It's best to get booked in advance as much as possible as it will be entirely first come first served with the reduced slots I have.
🎂 Collection times will have to be more specific/set by me to work round shifts where necessary. The option for delivery will also be dependent on the date required.
🧁Response times to messages may take a fair bit longer, especially during my training period where I'm busy pretty much the whole day monday-friday until end October.
I'm also probably not going to be able to do my usual markets and things like the TCO gonks and various holiday treat boxes unless that holiday falls on an off shift period.
As sad as it is to be dialling back on the cakes, it's not the end of Frenchie's Frostings, just a quieter era while I set off on my new challenge.
Thank you for your continued support over the last 4 years, and I hope to see a lot of you stick around for the next 4 too!
