The cloakroom is such a key room in the home as it’s seen by everyone. This room is understated but oozes industrial chic. The dark painted walls contrast with the brass frame of the mirror and taps and the bright yellow artwork. The charcoal ceramic basin ties in with the wall colour and the ‘kitkat’ tiles give contrast and texture. The rustic wood top and steel towel rail add an industrial edge to the look of this room.

We wanted a relaxing spa style in this bathroom and worked with architects @‌heighwayassociates to create the space and the striking tall ceiling. The natural large scale tiles form a contrasting backdrop against the white organic shaped free-standing bath. The accents of wood in the stool, bath tray and plant basket also bring extra warmth to this zen-like space.

Notice how this bathroom changes with the glow of the ambient LED mirror lights. In the daylight you get the warm colour of the Oak vanity and calming white tiles that almost disappear. In the evening with the mirror turned on the light highlights the texture of the tiles making them more 3 dimensional and casts a lovely glow onto the white bowls.

Our client liked the industrial look of the Crittall style glazing in her home and carried this through to her teenage daughters bedroom and en-suite bathroom. This clever idea brought extra light and space into both rooms. The reeded oak vanity with brushed brassware, the playful texture of the Terrazzo style tiles and reeded glass really gives this space a young and fun vibe.

This small reception room or ‘Snug' needed a few basic ingredients to make it feel more cosy. A wood burning fire, comfy velvet sofas, textured scatter cushions, metallic accent lighting and a warm toned wall colour. We like the contrast of the pale oak herringbone floor with the striking dark walls in Farrow and Ball ‘Down pipe’. The room is now perfect for relaxing in!

In the hall we focused on the lighting of the stairs and the lovely texture of the stair runner and as there was no understairs storage we needed a cupboard for all the shoes and coats.
By choosing the dark blue doors with knurled brass handles this practical piece was given a striking look.

Hallways are not just a space to travel through but give visitors the first impressions of your home. Therefore I think it’s important to make some interior statements. It could be artwork, photos or in this case a bold patterned tiled floor. The black Crittall style reeded doors co-ordinate well with the black and white the geometric pattern. The glazed room divider creates the illusion of space giving you a view through to the snug room.

The kitchen style chosen for this open plan kitchen was a shaker style but with an industrial modern twist. Stainless steel knurled handles placed on grey shaker cabinet doors with a light colored quartz top. This was beautifully contrasted with black metal legs of the the bar stools and the reeded Crittall style glazed door to the pantry.

This Victorian house was designed into a spacious family home by . I was lucky enough to help with the interiors which was made more joyful as I aligned with the client on our style tastes. They wanted a modern industrial look with natural textures. For the open plan kitchen,dining and living room the hard finishes were a mixture of brick, knurled black metal fittings and grey porcelain floors which was contrasted with the soft curves and cream boucle fabric for the sofa.
