Hi folks as you all know its Comic Relief 18th March and for the last 2 years we haven't been able to do much in terms of events. This year we want to make it outstanding. I work down at Sainsburys and have been set the challenge of organising our fund raising events. We will be organising a colouring competition for the kids, a tombola and a raffle. Whilst Sainsburys donate raffle prizes, I am asking for the communities help with prizes for the raffle.
If anyone has any unwanted gifts that they would like to donate as a tombola prize that would be great. It can be toiletries, sweets, chocolates, as long as it is new. Prizes can be left at Sainsburys (I have a box in office marked Liz) or if you want to drop at my house or my parents on Windy Hill Lane.
I look forward to keeping you updated on how we are progressing.
