We are currently very busy at Goodwins Kitchens Bedrooms and Bathrooms with several kitchen projects underway.

These projects involve comprehensive work, including full rip-outs back to the original stone, complete electrical renewals, floor preparation, and plastering. At Goodwins, we manage every aspect of the project from start to finish, ensuring everything is perfect before the first kitchen unit is even installed.

Vinyl click flooring continues from the kitchen into the hallway and WC, creating a seamless flow throughout the downstairs space.

A huge thank you to Goodwins Kitchens Bedrooms and Bathrooms in Wirksworth for creating this fantastic window display ahead of our Back to the 1940s Weekend!

Featuring iconic aircraft, military vehicles and wartime silhouettes, the display is a wonderful tribute to the spirit of the 1940s and helps bring the excitement of the event into the heart of the town.

It’s fantastic to see local businesses getting behind the weekend and helping to create a real sense of occasion for residents and visitors alike.

Be sure to take a look if you’re passing through Wirksworth, and don’t forget to join us on 13th & 14th June for a weekend packed with vintage vehicles, live entertainment, re-enactors, heritage trains and much more.

Another Beautiful Kitchen Transformation Completed

We recently transformed this beautiful kitchen, replacing the existing space with a timeless shaker-style timber kitchen featuring a beaded door design. Each unit was hand-painted on site to create a truly bespoke finish.

The kitchen includes premium Bosch appliances for reliable everyday performance, paired with elegant 20mm ceramic worktops that offer both style and durability.

What makes this project especially striking is how naturally the new kitchen sits within the home’s original character. The hand-painted cabinetry complements the traditional oak beams and flagstone flooring perfectly, creating a warm and welcoming space that blends classic charm with modern practicality.

The finished result is a kitchen that looks as though it has always been part of the home — a functional family space with timeless character and appeal.
