We’re opening at 11am this morning as we have a plant delivery arriving. 🪴

The side of small businesses that Instagram doesn’t usually show… Going from working a full-time NHS job to throwing everything at my small business has been crazy scary…. But also very rewarding. I wake up and breathe easier knowing that the day is on my terms, which can sometimes be tough constantly calling the shots and making the hard decisions but hey… character building right? 😅 A huge thank you to anyone who has been in to see us at shop, or even support from afar! Supporting small businesses genuinely means more than people realise 🌿💚

This isn’t our usual houseplant-inspired post, but rather something nature-themed that has been lifting my spirits lately…
I’ve felt more in tune with my feelings recently, and although that has meant producing less content, I’ve found myself with more energy for the exciting (and sometimes challenging) parts of growing a business.
After a 10-hour nursing shift or a long day at the shop followed by a lengthy commute home, it can be hard to drag myself out for a walk. But I’ve come to realise what a gift it is to find joy in the little moments along the way - not just beauty, but joy.
Sunlight gazing through the trees, sprinkling the last bit of daylight over your eyes or a happy dog playing in the grass…
