After almost 18 years we are closing as a plant nursery. 
Since we started (when nobody was really interested in indoor plants and less so ordering plants over the internet)  we have delivered way over a quarter of a million plants! With the fact that we actually grew and held plant stock  hopefully we were a major part of the change that moved indoor tropical plants out of the realm of florists and into mainstream horticulture. We have seen massive changes in the way we all view indoor plants as not only a decorative item but as an intrinsic element to a happy and healthy life.
To our tens of thousands of old customers we cannot thank you enough. It has been a wonderful journey and a real pleasure to have got to know so many of you.

We have some amazing bargains and they all have to go. Please mail us if you are after a bulk purchase. And please make us a deal if you are after more than one of our BIG plants. We are very busy so please accept our apologies if we do not reply quickly!
House of Plants will continue but not as a plant nursery or online retailer. We are going to be reaunching as a plant consultancy for larger projects and wholesale but after Paul has had a little break, he really needs one! x

We love our big new photo studio 🥰 it's always been a challenge showing scale with our plant photos, so we've been using white furniture to do this with our range of potted plants 🌿
This 2.5 metre kentia palm is pictured exactly how it would arrive at your home or office (minus the packaging!) We love doing these huge plants because of the reaction we get when they arrive with our customers 😁

Codiaeum nervia - Wonder Plant 🦸‍♀️

Completely over the top levels of anthocyanin make this one of the most outrageously vivid plants on the planet 🌈

Anthocyanin takes the place of chlorophyll in certain leaves that are exposed to more sunlight. As the leaf no longer needs to photosynthesize because of excess sunlight, it produces anthocyanins as a pollinator attractor, as well as a protection against disease. 🤯

If left in shadier spots, it will revert back to green as it needs to get back to processing all the sunshine it can get ☀️ so keep it bright!
