Typically British...

We are never happy but constant rain as a gardener is a pain.

Here in Suffolk, I know we are due a heatwave and it will be more difficult trying to wear a bigger hat, cover up and constantly apply suncream.

At least with the rain its softening the soil, brace for hard concrete soon!

The weekend i rested...

Surrounded by beauty means switching off and paying attention.

Walking my new four legged friend got me out, listening to birds unplugged and visiting new places.

This rose is perfect at the cottage.

And the heart? Found halfway buried under compost when creating a new planter. I visited the cemetery yesterday and asked for a sign. Grateful.

No Mow May...
..Comes to a close.

This garden however, will have a neat lawn but one side will always be left to run, for nature to run its course, for the so called weeds with their pretty flowers to roam free.

The wildlife is abundant and my heart is full.

There's nothing I like better than to mooch round gardens, get inspired and talk to others that like it too.

Doing my best Zoolander pose...

sponsored a not so traditional garden at Chelsea. Did have a boogie in the greenhouse that was full of beautiful plants with added pop music all based on aphrodite. There were some interesting implements on show other than plants, quite the queue!
